Whether you're an artist or an art lover, student ( Middle schoolers and above ), senior or somewhere in between, we invite you to get involved with this beloved Pembroke summer tradition.

The Pembroke Arts Festival relies on an army of volunteers before, during and after the event. Please have a look at the list below and choose an assignment that suits your schedule and your interest. Or let us slot you in where the need is greatest.
This is a great opportunity for students to earn some community service hours, or for anyone to be a part of a wonderful community event. Some jobs require a bit of strength (moving artwork, moving and setting up panels) others require only a smile (sitting at the entrance and handing out programs or selling t-shirts). There really is something for everyone.

Volunteer Needs
Thursday, July (date to come) Drop offs
6:30-8:30pm - Assist with art take-in. (4 volunteers needed, ages 13+)

Saturday, August (date to come) Onsite Jurying
9:00-11:00am - Move art. (4 volunteers needed, ages 13+)
1:00-3:00pm - Move art during judging. (4 volunteers needed, ages 13+)
3:00-5:00pm - Move art to storage room (6 volunteers needed, ages 13+)

Thursday, August ...
9:00am-12:00pm - Move panels to the hall; set up children's show flats. (8 volunteers needed, ages 13+. You must be able to carry heavy flats.)

Friday, August ...
9:00am-2:00pm - Set up panels in hall, carry artwork. (8 volunteers needed, ages 13+)
7:00-9:00pm - Hand out programs during opening reception. (2 volunteers needed, ages 13+)

Saturday, August ...
10:00am-6:00pm - Volunteers needed in 2 hour shifts (10am-noon, noon-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm-6pm) to host in the tents: hand out programs and ballots, oversee donations, help clear up trash and recyclables, help visitors as needed.

Sunday, August ...
10:00am-4:00pm - Volunteers needed in 2 hour shifts (10am-noon, noon-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm-6pm) to host in the tents: hand out programs and ballots, oversee donations, help clear up trash and recyclables, help visitors as needed.
4:00-6:00pm - Dismantle and clean up (12 volunteers needed, ages 13+)
