Welcome
to the44th
Pembroke Arts Festival!
The committee,
the volunteers, the artists and all our business and community sponsors have
worked hard to create this year's festival of the arts. The response to our
call for entries and the accomplished jurors allow us to present to you a
magnificent art exhibition. We are delighted to showcase a children's exhibit
under the tent as well. There is continuous entertainment for your enjoyment,
featuring East Coast Acapella at our Saturday night concert. All this, along
with our craft market and refreshments, have been carefully planned to make
the Pembroke Arts Festival something you won't want to miss!
We are very appreciative of the contributions from
local businesses, residents and town boards who make our festival and scholarship
possible. In addition, this event is funded in part by a grant from the Pembroke
Cultural Council, for which we are extremely grateful.

Kate
DeSantis
The 2011 Pembroke Arts Festival is dedicated
to the memory of Kate DeSantis.
Kate will be sorely missed as the founder and organizer of the
craft market that has become such a big part of our festival. Her
cheerful smile and exquisite pottery was an intrinsic fixture,
not only of our festival, but at surrounding art associations as
well.
This year we will present a crafter at the festival with the Kate
DeSantis Memorial Award.
