Young Artists and Photographers Invited to Exhibit
Students from Pembroke and surrounding areas are invited to exhibit their best work at the 43rd annual Pembroke Arts Festival, August 7th and 8th. The exhibit is sponsored by the Bridgewater Savings Bank.

The following awards will be given for outstanding work:
Best of Show
Top Three Photographs
Artwork, First, Second and Third places for:
   Preschool – Kindergarten
   Grades 1-3
   Grades 4-6
   Grades 7-9
   Grades 10-12.

Young artists may submit either their original artwork and/or photography. Each student is welcome to enter a maximum of 2 pieces in the combination of their choice. There is no fee. Please keep in mind, due to the popularity of the show, a maximum of 180 entries will be accepted.

ENTRIES may be left at the Pembroke Center Library from Monday, July 12 to Saturday, July 24. For your convenience, blank entry forms will be available at the main desk. Please be ready to complete an entry form for each entry, with your full name, address, grade as of June 2010, the category and the title of your piece. You must then attach it to the reverse side of the corresponding piece.
In addition, there will be a log book, organized by grade, in which you must enter your full name, telephone number and the total number of pieces you are entering.

The pieces must be ready for hanging: framed with hooks and wire on the back. We can not accept any pieces with tape and/or string of any kind as they do not hold up in the humidity. Due to the volume of pieces coming in, please be sure to adhere to the above request.

Pick-up will be Sunday, August 8, from 4–5 p.m. at the close of the festival.

For additional information or questions, please call Cookie Golden (781) 826-4432.
